I studied software engineering, but I was always more interested in how things look and feel. That's what led me to make the switch — from frontend engineer to UI designer, back in 2018.

Spent some time early on trying to build startups. Nothing worked, but I learned how to ship products and keep going. Still doing that.

These days I design iOS apps at tappz and run my own studio, mekarya on the side. AI makes it easier to go from idea to product without a full engineering team.

I think good software should be beautiful, simple, and built to last. That's what I'm always trying to make.
